Payment

PayPal

You can use your existing PayPal account and check out quickly with no need to enter your credit card details.

We accept payment through PayPal only in Japanese Yen. PayPal will be using their exchange rate which is different from the one we use on our shopping cart. The price of an item and the shipping fee will be deducted from your PayPal account right when you place an order. If your order has been canceled, the refund will be made to your PayPal account.

Alipay / WeChatPay

Both are the most famous payment method in China. If you already have an account, you can pay without any additional procedure. Although our products are sold in Japanese YEN, you can pay in your national currency. Any changes to the amount of the order will be automatically refunded, but there is the period for automatic refund is limited: 90 days for Alipay and 180 days for WeChatPay. If these deadlines are exceeded, it may take some time to process refund. Regardless of the rate, the refund will be made in the same currency as the amount you paid. If there is some different rate at the time of payment, difference should be covered by you.

Please note that any additional charges will be charged via Paypal and not via Alipay / WeChatPay. We are afraid we are not able to receive the request of item change if the prices are different as originally ordered items.

Credit Card

General Information

We accept MasterCard or VISA as a payment by credit card. The transaction will be made in Japanese Yen from us toward your credit card company through GMO as we ship your item(s) out from our warehouse. Customer is not allowed to split their payment to any other payment method or the same. The payment will be made in lump sum.

Your credit card information will be recorded at GMO under secured encryped database.

Basically, card authorization is processed at the time of order and the card is charged at the time of shipment. The card is automatically re-authorized every 56 days, so orders with long delivery times may be re-authorized multiple times.

Handling of your credit card information

In conducting the e-commerce service, the purpose of acquisition and the name of providing destination for credit card information such as credit card name, credit card number, expiration period are as below.

The credit card information is strictly managed and will not be used for any other settlements of order without prior notice to customers and without cusomer's permission. Your credit card information are not able to browse in full digit even by Webike operator.

The data from the order form will be encrypted by SSL, so that your credit card number will be sent securely without a risk of abuse or tampering.

Note for using debit card

If you purchase item(s) with a debit function, after clicking the "order" at the end of the order purchase procedure, the credit will be immediately withdrawn from your designated bank account.

For many possible occasions (refer below), there are possibility of duplicated withdrawn for your order. In such a case occur, it may take upto 30days to 45 days for the refund to be back to your designated account. This is due to the gap in leadtime of cancelled transaction data from us to reach to your credit card company.

・Partial refund or addition of charge procedure is required.

・When part of the order content is changed

・Other than described above, when cancellation of settlement and/or re-authorization of your order.

We adopt 3D authentication in addition to authentication by security code when you purchase with your credit card, so that you can be more confident in using our shop.

Security Code

We adopt the authentication by security code when you purchase with your credit card, so that you are able to shop safely. The security code is 3 or 4-digit number on the back of your credit card. That is printed separately from the credit card number.

3D Secure

3D Secure is an authentication scheme recommended by VISA and Master Card for the purpose of preventing unauthorized use (spoofing) of a credit card by a third party trying to settle transaction with your credit card. An authentication will be done by entering 3D secure ID and password in addition to the credit card number, expiration date, security code.

We STRONGLY recommend you to register your 3D secure ID and password. 3D Secure can be registered at each credit card company's website. Customers who have not registered for 3D secure can still be able to purchase on a credit card by it's card number, expiration date and security code.

Payment error when placing an order

You may come against an error when you proceed to purchase your items. This occurs when your credit card can not be used or PayPal account's balance is short.
