Recently upgraded to a Nissin master cylinder, and the difference is immediately noticeable. The brake feel is much more precise, with better feedback and smoother modulation compared to the stock unit. Build quality is excellent—solid finish, smooth lever action, and clearly designed for performance and reliability. Braking response feels more confident, especially during aggressive riding and highway speeds.

Own a 2000 ZRX1100. Have made many upgrades to the bike. Wanted to upgrade the Master Cylinder from the stock to a Radial MC. Looked at the Brembo but the cost was prohibitive although I know the quality is high.Decided to take a chance on the Nissin Radil Master Cylinder. It was advertised as being compatible with the ZRX.It came complete with all the parts necessary including the plastic brake cup. The only part I needed to purchase was a new banjo bolt. Installation was pretty much plug and play. The mirror mount worked with the original mirror and the throttle assemby fit without any modification.The total install was less than an hour. Bleeding the brakes took the most time. The MC has a bleed screw on top which is necessary to bleed the excess air that rises to the top. The difference in braking power and feel is dramatic. Before I needed three or four fingers to operate the brake lever for adequate pressure. With the new Nissisn Radial MC. I can now brake with one finger. I should have made this upgrade years ago. In terms of changes to the bike this is right up there with changes made to the suspension in effecting stability and drivability. I imagine that changing the front calipers will make additional improvement but not as dramatic as replacing the MC.Ordering and shipping was simple. I received the order in the US at my door in 10 days including customs clearance. Anyone still operating with the original MC should definitely change to the Nissan. It is about 1/3 the price of the Brembo which runs about $400 with the accesories and tax.View Detail
